When the "Add to Cart" button reads "Backorder", it means we are Out of Stock for that particular product, or product variant.
- Backorder items are temporarily out of stock but are still available for purchase on our web site.
- Order now and we will ship the item as soon as we receive it.
- Orders are fulfilled in the order in which they were received.
- Estimated ship date is shown on the item description page.
- Your credit card will be charged as if it is a regular order.
- You can cancel your order any time before it ships for a full refund.
- In Stock items ordered with Backorder items will be held and all items will ship together when Backorder items are in stock.
What is a Backorder Item?
Backorder Items are items that are temporarily out of stock but are available for purchase on our site. We try our best to keep items in stock at all times, but we sometimes run into inventory shortages when demand is higher than expected. We allow customers to reserve these items by placing a Backorder and we will ship it when it comes in. We fulfill all Backorders in the order they are received, which means your order will ship out before other customers' orders placed after you. This also means your order will ship out before products are back in stock on our website.
Is prepayment required for a Backorder Item?
Yes. When you place an order for a Backorder item, we process full payment for the item(s) the same as we process payments for in-stock items.
Can I cancel an order for a Backorder Item?
Yes. Backorders may be cancelled for full refund at any time until the date they are shipped. Simply reply to your order confirmation email and request that it be cancelled. Or, contact us through the contact form on our website with your order information and cancellation request.
If I order multiple items, will the in-stock items ship immediately?
No. In Stock Items ordered with Backorder Items will be held and all items will ship together when the Backorder items are in stock. If you want in-stock items to ship immediately, you will need to place two separate orders, one for the in-stock items and one for the Backorder items.
When will my Backordered Item ship?
Backordered items ship within one business day of receiving the product back in stock. An estimated shipping date is posted on the item description page under the "Backorder" button. Backorder dates are updated regularly to reflect the expected ship date of a Backorder placed "today". If you have already placed a Backorder and the ship date has changed since you placed your order, don't be alarmed. Your item should still ship out at the estimated date previously specified at purchase. All Backorder dates are approximate, but we try our best to be as accurate as possible when estimating ship dates. Ship times can sometimes take longer than estimated, but you can usually expect us to ship product by the date specified or earlier. Since there are sometimes unexpected delays, we cannot always guarantee a product will ship by the Backorder date specified.
Will I receive notification when my order ships?
Yes. You will receive an email confirmation when you place your order. You will also be notified by e-mail when your order ships, which will include a tracking number for your order. As a reminder, customers are responsible for tracking the arrival of their order.
